This mural is dedicated to the generation of my parents. Born in 1939 they experienced the seamless transition from the Second World War to the Cold War, which shows their fears and the propagandistic traits especially in science fiction films. What was left of Albert Speer's theory of the value of ruins is to be seen in 50s edition of "Baumeister Magazin". Holidays and journeys in the 50s/60s as found in private slide collections complete the phenomenological arrangement for better understanding.
In response to the mural about the post-war generation, the same phenomenological principle was applied to the present on the other wall: actual science fiction in films, series and games, travel, ruins and new buildings. The collage material from current issues of the  Baumeister magazine was supplemented by own local photo tours.
